This 1916 Swedish Mauser is a bolt action rifle firing a 6.5x55 bullet. This gun has a 29" barrel and is blued. The top of the action is marked "(CARL GUSTAFS STRADS GAVARSFACTORI / 1916)" The front sight is a square post style, and the rear sight is a flat flip up U style. It has a wooden two-piece Mannlicher stock with a steel nose piece for a bayonet (no bayonet), barrel band w/sling loop and attached leather sling, cleaning rod and steel butt plate. The end of the barrel has some pitting.
